LOVED Halong Bay! The trip had lots of drama but the beauty was indescribable The pictures can't even hold a candle to the real thing, but they can try. We did a two day cruise and Zac was pretty excited to sleep on a boat for the first time. We encountered camera problems, snobby teachers, and a tight schedule. It wasn't relaxing but it was amazing to kayak through Halong Bay, explore the caves (though I twisted my ankle pretty badly) and and eat delicious food on the deck, surrounded by beauty.
Zac in our room
The food on board was AMAZING
We were the only two on the whole cruise to choose kayaking over being rowed around
Zac hangs out on the top deck
Relaxing
Cooking class! :)
Look what we made!
Night lights of the other boats
Zac and the other kids on the cruise
I forget what this was. Squid fishing maybe.
I jumped on Zac`s bed for a cuddle
Breakfast time!
I loved eating breakfast on the deck :)
Zac mostly just loved his smoothie.
I loved the colour of the water
So naturally, I took some black and white pictures
Caves! Apparently a World Wonder. But they keep changing.
Inside!
With Jon, our new English friend :)
I hug him sometimes cuz he`s cute.
It was probably around here that I paid too much attention to taking pictures
And then it was probably around here that I seriously fell and twisted my ankle :(
But the beauty of the caves kept me going ;)
And back out to the beauty of the bay :)
Back on the ship
