We didn't have an extended stay in Bangkok but rather four mini stays in between countries and cities. I heard not-so-great things about the city, but Zac and I really liked it for the most part :)
We first arrived in Bangkok to meet Jen and Matt and spent our time in our awesome hotel and wandering the streets and eating yummy street food.

| What would be happening in Waterloo, only in Bangkok |
Zac was a big fan of hotels with pools. During our trip he concentrated on performing various styles of handstands.
The second time we were in Bangkok was following Chiang Mai. We spent the most time in Bangkok here, hanging out and exploring for a few days before moving on to Cambodia.

We really enjoyed the day we spent wandering the city. We checked out China Town and took a boat through the city that passed the Palace and some temples, and checked out the famous Khao San Road.

| China Town was packed! |

| Zac gets an idea |
 |
| Using the boat to get around was fun |
 |
| By Khao San Road. We made art! |
 |
| Khao San Road. Honestly, it was too busy. We checked it out and that was enough. |
 |
| Zac Power! |

| Boat ride on the way back. So pretty! |

| Confession: This was our breakfast the next day |
Our third time in Bangkok was brief, inbetween returning from Hanoi, Vietnam, and then taking the train down to Koh Tao Island where we spent our last week. We mainly wandered around the streets, had travel drama (so much! Details later) and ate food.
 |
| Valentine's Day at the Airport (really just an excuse for chocolate. After the day we had, it was a requirement!) |
Our last time in Bangkok was the time we spent after Koh Tao before heading back to China. Our day consisted of Pearl Bubble Tea, dessert, and skin cream and body wash (there was a sale). It was super relaxing and low key, and a great way to spend our last day (before more travel drama, cuz you know there was more of that).

| Waking up as we arrive in Bangkok |
 |
| Best train experience out of the four. Clean, bug-free and fun! |
 |
| First things first! |
Conclusion: We will be back.
